"How much is a website?" is the wrong question. It's like asking how much a vehicle costs — a bicycle and a delivery van are both vehicles. The right question is: what do you need this site to do, and what is that worth to you?
Start with the job, not the price
A website can be a digital business card, a sales engine, or the operational hub of your company. The budget follows the job:
- Presence — you need to exist online, look credible, be findable. A focused build does this well.
- Performance — the site has to sell, book or convert. Now design, speed and conversion craft earn their keep. This is where most serious businesses sit.
- System — the site runs operations: e-commerce, automations, AI agents, configurators. Here it's not a cost, it's infrastructure.
A realistic range
For a custom build in the UAE, expect AED 4,000–7,000+ depending on scope — a landing page at the lower end, a full bilingual e-commerce store at the upper. Below that range you're typically buying a template; above it you're often paying for an agency's overhead. We sit deliberately in the range where craft meets sense.
The maths that matters
Don't measure a website against its price. Measure it against its return. What's one extra customer a month worth to you? For most businesses, even a modest lift in enquiries or conversions covers a proper build within the year — and then keeps paying.
A cheap site that loses you customers is the expensive option. A well-built one that wins them is the bargain, regardless of sticker price.
Budget for after launch, too
A website isn't a one-time spend. Plan for ongoing care — updates, improvements, the automations that keep it earning. We attach a retainer by default for exactly this reason: the launch is the start, not the finish.
The honest guidance
Spend what the job is worth, not the least you can get away with. The least-cost option almost always costs more in the end — in lost sales, in a rebuild, in the opportunity that walked away because the site felt cheap.
